Siemens to spin off energy company in India — EnergyWatch

When Siemens Energy landed its major rescue package last month, it was with more or less benevolent help from its parent company. As part of the deal with the German government and others, Siemens AG bought an additional 18% of the Indian subsidiary from the beleaguered energy company for EUR 2.1bn.
