Chinese investor divests Portugese wind park — EnergyWatch

China Three Gorges’ ambitions to acquire a majority stake in EDP collapsed in the spring of 2019 when the Portuguese shareholders rejected the bid. However, although the state-owned Chinese company remains the largest single shareholder in the Portuguese energy company, having bought just over a fifth of the share capital in 2011, it is now scaling back its involvement.
