Denmark is losing offshore lead — EnergyWatch

Vattenfall is by far the largest player in Danish waters. Both of the two most recent offshore wind farms, Horns Rev 3 and Kriegers Flak, were set up by the Swedish energy company, which is currently in the process of connecting the next ones, Vesterhav Syd and Nord, to the grid. But when the upcoming Danish offshore wind tender is to be settled, it may be without the market leader’s participation.
