FuboTV Expands Partnership with Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship

FuboTV Inc. (FUBO), the sports-first live TV streaming platform, has recently broadened its collaboration with Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC), a combat sports promotion experiencing rapid growth. This enhanced partnership is highlighted by Fubo’s acquisition of a minority stake in BKFC and the appointment of its Co-founder and CEO, David Gandler, to BKFC’s board of directors. The strengthened ties between the two organizations include live distribution rights on Fubo Sports, Fubo’s FAST linear network and Pay-Per-View (PPV) events.

The alliance has already seen success with BKFC 48, which featured social media influencer Bryce Hall against Gee Perez, becoming the most-watched combat sports event in the four-year history of Fubo Sports. The partnership’s expansion will now encompass select live BKFC events, including the eagerly awaited BKFC 57 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, FL. Furthermore, the company will stream BKFC original programming and co-develop a reality series titled: “BKFC: What’s Your Why?”, aiming to forge a deeper bond between fighters and their supporters.

Gandler has voiced his excitement about the partnership, underscoring the company’s dedication to delivering a diverse content experience with a wide range of live sports programming. He pointed out BKFC’s distinctive allure and its strong performance as a key partner for Fubo Sports. The collaboration is anticipated to further boost viewership and engagement for BKFC events on the platform.

FuboTV Inc. continues to be at the forefront of innovation in live TV streaming, offering subscribers in the U.S., Canada, Spain and, through its partnership with Molotov, France, access to a wide selection of live sports, news and entertainment networks. The company has introduced several industry firsts, including 4K streaming, MultiView and Instant Headlines, an AI-generated news feature. These innovations align with the company’s mission to disrupt the traditional TV model by delivering a personalized and interactive streaming experience optimized specifically for live sports and TV.

The Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship, based in Philadelphia, is known for being the first organization to host a legal, sanctioned and regulated bare knuckle event in the United States since 1889. Under Feldman’s leadership, the BKFC maintains the historical essence of bare-knuckle fighting while adapting a modern set of rules for the sport.

The strengthened partnership between FuboTV Inc. and the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship marks a pivotal moment for the sports broadcasting and combat sports industries. With Fubo’s technological expertise and BKFC’s innovative approach to the sport, the collaboration promises to deliver an enhanced viewing experience for enthusiasts and drive expansion for both companies. As the live sports entertainment landscape continues to transform, this partnership exemplifies the dynamic and progressive strategies that are shaping the future of sports viewing.2024-02-08T18:04:02.028Zhttp://testing1-env-1.eba-dr2jcxwf.us-east-2.elasticbeanstalk.com/rss/2289
