Order backlog reaches new heights at NKT — EnergyWatch
Danish NKT continues to roll on in the latest quarterly report, where key figures continue to grow.
So does demand. In any case, the company can state that the order backlog has never been higher, NKT announces in its third-quarter report, with an order backlog of EUR 11bn.
The order backlog totalled EUR 11 billion, driven in particular by the record order from German 50Hertz, which totals EUR 3.5bn.
The positive development can also be seen on the top and bottom line. Revenue has gone from EUR 358m in 2022’s third quarter to EUR 501m in the latest quarter. Organic growth was 44 per cent. At the same time, the company’s ebitda has grown from EUR 35.2m to EUR 76.5m in the same period.
”For the fourth consecutive quarter, we achieved double-digit growth in revenue and operational EBITDA, driven by capacity expansions, satisfactory project execution and continued growth in our Solutions and Applications business areas,” says CEO Claes Westerlind.
At the end of October, NKT presented preliminary figures for the quarter and at the same time raised expectations from an annual revenue of EUR 1.80-1.90 billion to EUR 1.85-1.90bn.
