Vestas snags 4GW from Siemens Gamesa — EnergyWatch

Vestas is making a strong return to the largest offshore wind market outside of China, as Vattenfall selects the Danish turbine manufacturer as preferred supplier for 1.4 GW of UK offshore wind and enters into an exclusivity agreement with the turbine manufacturer for a further 2.8 GW. This initially includes Norfolk Vanguard West, followed by the Norfolk cluster’s Vanguard East and Boreas projects.
